SAVE THE DATE! 21st Annual MHA Conference
Join the Mass History Alliance on Friday, June 12, 2026, for our annual conference and explore this year’s theme: Revolutionizing History: Small but Mighty
This year’s Conference theme reflects a critical juncture we’re facing in the public history field. 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Yet, despite this major milestone in our nation’s history, public historians continue to grapple with the defunding of their projects and programs, decreases in tourism to their sites, and challenges to the very facts of history and the commitments of our founding principles. What lessons can we learn from the revolutionary spirit of our state? Massachusetts was the first colony to resist Great Britain in the Eighteenth Century. How can our culture advocates band together today to learn, survive, and hopefully thrive despite the challenges we’re facing?
The conference will be held from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at the College of the Holy Cross, 1 College St, Worcester, MA. We are excited to see you all there!
