PUBLICK OCCURRENCES — May 26, 2021

Volunteers are the backbone of most history-based organizations. How are they cultivated and supported on mission driven projects that provide mutual benefit?
Join speakers from North Andover Historical Society and the Public Health Museum at the session SUPPORTING AND SUSTAINING VOLUNTEERS: FROM ARCHIVAL PROJECTS TO INSTITUTIONAL PROGRAMMING as they share insights and lessons learned from working with volunteers. Topics include finding human power for construction and renovation projects, maintaining current operations, and recruiting new volunteers to join historical organizations in a variety of roles.
This session is sponsored by conference partner the State Historical Records Advisory Board.
