Seeking Keynote Speaker Suggestions – Make the 2020 Massachusetts History Conference Your Own
MHA Publick Occurrences — October 9, 2019
The Steering Committee for the 16th annual MA History Conference invites you to submit suggestions for the Keynote Speaker, whose talk will open the conference. Do you know of a public historian, museum or historical society notable, author, civic leader, or other individual who you think will challenge and inspire conference attendees with their message? Someone who you think will have everyone thinking and talking and running back home with new ideas?
The planning committee is especially interested in a speaker who would address the practice of participatory history, civic engagement, or diversity and equity in the field, however, we are not bound by those ideas.
Please complete the keynote speaker form on our website and submit your suggestions by Friday, October 18, 2019.
Save the date: Plan to join us on June 1st to network, listen, and learn with 200 colleagues from all across Massachusetts for the 16th Annual MA History Conference, held at Holy Cross in Worcester.
The 2020 Massachusetts History Conference is hosted by the Massachusetts History Alliance and supported by Mass Humanities as a lead sponsor.
