MHA Publick Occurrences
April 18, 2018
Registration is open for the 14th Annual Mass History Conference
People’s History <=> Local History
June 4, Worcester
Join us for the conference for people who work and volunteer in local and public history in Massachusetts. That includes you, historical societies, museums, historic houses, re-enactment and commemoration groups, genealogy associations, archives of all sorts, public history sites, DCR and park service units, library history rooms. Massachusetts is full of public history, and we at the Massachusetts History Alliance hope you’ll come and share what you’re up to, learn a new trick or two, get inspired, discuss how to bring new people into your museum or site, find out about funding, meet some folks you might want to collaborate with, see what others are doing, market your skills or programs to historical organizations, and spend the day with others who “get” what you are trying to do.
All registered participants have various opportunities to share their ideas and experiences and show what they do: registration includes free tabling in the day-long Mass History Commons as well as participation in the sharing and networking sessions.
The conference is hosted by the Massachusetts History Alliance, in collaboration with other organizations, such as Mass Humanities, which runs the registration. The price is right. Check out the program and register today!
Its not too late to get your name on our statewide electronic outreach for as little as $50! Sponsorship opportunities.
