Design a postcard for the 2019 MAss History Conference!

Deadline: February 20. The competition is now closed to new entries — re-submits by those who have received an email will still work.

1) Submit a historic image that is either in the public domain or from your collection as a candidate for the 5 x 7 postcard
( 5 x 7 ratio at 300 dpi. Minimum size longest side: 2175 pix — or minimum 2175 x 1537 pix)

OR

2) Design the picture side of the postcard and submit is as a whole (same specifications)
Requirements:
— Must contain an historic image that is either in the pubic domain or in your collection
— Must contain the title: Empowering our Communities through History
— Make sure you leave 1/4″ room between text and edge (for printing full bleed) all the way around.

  • Image will be credited on the postcard (designer will not be).
  • All images will be posted on the Mass History Alliance website.

Either check that the image is in the public domain or check to give permission to the Massachusetts History Alliance to print and publish the image and/or the design of the postcard.
