People’s History <=> Local History
June 4, Worcester
Program      Registration

Thank you for participating in the survey of what to do in the sharing and networking sessions (45mins, 1:30-2:15 pm). We’re finalizing them now. This is what you will be able to participate in at the conference at that time:

    1. Share and Pitch: Tell us about a program or project or idea. Each speaker gets 5 minutes to tell the audience about a project a program they or their organization has done or is working on, or to pitch an idea for a project and seek feedback and/or collaboration. You can sign up for that here, or on the day itself. 5 minutes…
    2. Networking/Speed Dating. Meet new people in the field.
    3. Quick Skills on PR materials and outreach, including using Canva: short presentation and then conversation. Moderator: Julie Arrison, House of the Seven Gables.
    4. Participate in This! Hear from programs and projects your organizationon might want to participate in, such as the Mass. Memories Road Show and ArtWeek.
    5. Participatory Reading of We Did It For You! Women’s Journey Through History, a musical in the making. Presented by Thea Iberall.
    6. Learn about and discuss the new draft 2018 Massachusetts History and Social Science Curriculum Framework and a Resource Supplement listing many websites and New England museums for teachers and students.  Moderator: Christine McKenna Lok

One more is in the works.  Details to follow
