PUBLICK OCCURRENCES — June 14, 2020
Conversations on the Commons invites you to:
Reopening, engaging, or both?
Check-in: How are we doing on planning for reopening?
Following up from our conversation two weeks ago, we’ll talk through the reopening process for our institutions, small to large. Some are opening outdoor spaces. Others are focusing on distance engagement or doing much-needed work in their buildings or on their collections. What does the landscape look like now? How is the process going? Join Penni Martorell of Wistariahurst (Holyoke) and Gloria Greis of the Needham Historical Society for an informal discussion.
Friday June 19, 1:00-2:30 pm
What are your reopening plans? What is at the top of your list of worries? How are you managing financially? Are volunteers interested in participating in public programs when the time comes? Is your board helpful? What do you wish you had? What are you hoping for?
Livestream
Registration is full. The event will be live-streamed— we will monitor your questions and comments there as well.
Penni Martorell is Curator and City Historian at Wistariahurst and Gloria Greis is Executive Director at the Needham History Center & Museum.
