The #TeachDisabilityHistory campaign aims to promote the importance of teaching disability history. During this workshop, the disabled young adults leading the campaign will share some of the work they have done to promote teaching disability history in schools, and everyone will play a game to test their knowledge of disability history.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The #TeachDisabilityHistory campaign is led by a group of disabled young adults from all around the state working with Easterseals MA, a nonprofit that provides equal opportunities for people with disabilities to live, learn, work, and play. This group has organized over 35 presentations and events across the state. They are passionate and committed to expanding knowledge around the importance of teaching disability.<\/span><\/p>\n
