Sarah-Jane Poindexter is Roving Archivist for the Massachusetts State Historical Records Advisory Board. In this position she travels throughout the Commonwealth to provide support, advice, and encouragement to cultural heritage institutions seeking to improve the preservation and management of their archival collections. Prior to her work in Massachusetts, Ms. Poindexter was Manuscript Archivist and Co-Director of the Oral History Center at the University of Louisville Archives and Special Collections and Curator of Special Collections at the Filson Historical Society in Louisville, KY. She has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College.
