Emily Donovan is a Park Ranger at Lowell National Historical Park. As an interpreter Emily has over 10 years of academic and field experience in creating collaborative and audience-centered programs and experiences for visitors to museums and historic sites. Since 2018, Emily has served as the co-project manager for a new, community-driven exhibit about cultural diversity at Lowell National Historical Park, “One City, Many Cultures.” In this role, Emily works directly with community members and Park staff to help steer the direction and execution of the exhibit. Emily has additional experience and responsibilities at Lowell NHP with program evaluation, audience-centered engagement, and family learning. Emily holds a BA in Classics and History from Boston University and a MA in Museum Education from Tufts University. In addition to working with the community in role at Lowell NHP, Emily is a proud Lowell resident and community member herself.
