Diego Leonardo-Garcia is a Laboratory Operations Environmental Health and Safety Manager in the Boston area and current director of the Latinx Community Center for Empowerment in Lowell. Diego is originally from Guatemala where he received a degree as a Radiology Technician. After moving to the United States, Diego became very involved in the Lowell community, including as a co-founder of the Latinx Community Center for Empowerment in Lowell. The LCCE empowers community members by means of education for their active participation in the workforce, civic engagement and decision making with the purpose to promote socio economic development. Diego has degrees from Middlesex Community College and Boston University. He is currently enrolled in an MBA program in Health Sector Management at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
